We are excited to attend this year's Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia's Building Hope Luncheon! The event last year was terrific. We raised over $365,000 helping to build 2 more homes and stabilize 4 additional homes through critical repairs. Habitat’s goal with this year’s luncheon is to reach $425,000 raised for affordable housing.
This is a benefit event – we don’t sell tickets, so as a guest you’ll be invited to make a donation at the event. You too can be a builder of communities, homes, and hope.
The keynote speaker is Ukee Washington, a Philly native who loves the city and its families as much as we do. He will speak to his 30 years as a news anchor in Philadelphia and the changes he has witnessed in the city of Brotherly Love.
Mayor Kenney will also be attending and sharing his thoughts on neighborhood revitalization.
This is a special event – celebrating 30 years of building hope in Philadelphia: 190 houses built, 280 homes repaired, 2100 lives transformed!
